Read below our submission in response to the Draft Update of Ireland’s National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) which was open for public consultation in its final phase in June 2024. Submission on the evaluation of the Nitrates Directive (91 / 676 / EEC) on protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources.

Our first submission to bring in the new year! Regulations now require urgent and major revision in response to findings by the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee (ACCC) of non-compliances by Ireland. Thanks to our contributing members!
